I thought it was "chatty Cathy". ;o)
Anyway, I think Bo really does have a heart for his employees but (as the corporation grew bigger) he put his trust in the wrong kind of people. Several of his (nominally Christian) executives were Mammon-worshippers. They based their decisions on the bottom line with no regard for the "little man".
Many a king's reign has been ended by listening to false advisors.
When Bo came to El Dorado, and spoke to us at a meeting, I told her then, If Bo is truly a Christian man, and he can truly maintain his business in a Christ influenced manner, then this buyout will not be a problem. If however he is not able, or willing to maintain the integrity of his corporation in such a way, then things will quickly be worse for us than we have ever had it. The latter has been proven to be true. It quickly became worse, and continued to do so, until the situation in which we now find ourselves. I believe that Bo Pilgrims still has the means to make things right, but he for what ever reason has chosen not to do so.

I need to go back over my posts and make sure that I don't leave anything out, as I did in the previous post. I was actually having this conversation with my wife, who by the way is the most virtuious woman that I have ever known. She is working 4 different jobs to try and help us stay in our home, and keep food on the table, and clothes on our backs. I am now working 60, to 70 hours a week, and would have to have ten times, both my and my wifes income to pay the notes on our farm. My thanks go out to Bo Pilgrims and his board of executives for a job well done. I would hate to see what they would be capable of doing, to each and every community, if what they did in the past was not intentional. However, because of the memos that our lawyers have, of internal communications within Pilgrims Pride, we know for certain that their actions were planned and intentional.
