I understand that Pigrim has offered a buyout to some growers in South Arkansas. If they can do that now, why didn't they do that before. Just think about it, paying off the growers who did not want to retrofit would have cost them a WHOLE lot less than the legal fees they have paid to try to beat these farmers. Instead of doing the right thing, they have ruined the lives of so many people. The only ones to win in this is those high paid Pilgrim lawyers. There should be some way to make them quit the appeals and fighting and settle with these farmers. I for one will never buy a Pilgrim product as long as I live.

I agree with your suggestion. While they are at it, PP should repay taxpayers for the $60-million given to PP growers left without a marker.
