I did not use the heat patches, however in January 2008 I purchased the creme form of Icy Hot and got terrible burns on my back, hip and leg. I thought it was just a reaction that I personally had, so I stopped use after 3 days. My burns were very bad in certain areas, I still have scabs on the back.
