I am quite sure Charter is a blocking a telecommunications website that I go to for calling cards, but just to make sure, can some people who use Charter Internet go to this website http://www.relianceindiacall.com and tell me if it connects.

I can reach the website at my office and from other non-charter internet services.

I will contact the FCC if others tell me they can not connect either.

Edit: Also I can reach the website through proxy servers.

Hi, I can get right on. Try not using Charter's Google bar, use the Google Google bar. My daughter can't go to a lot of sites using that Charter search bar either. Good luck!

I thought that I was crazy but we started looking around for new cable service and cell phones and we were able to pick out everything but when we got to the "place order" section, we kept getting the "page cannot be displayed." We have accessed att.com from every other computer, just not our home computer! Seems like a block to me. All the more reason to switch.

I have been facing the same problem with Charter. If I connect to my office using the VPN I can go to www.relianceindiacall.com but if I use my home computer without the VPN I can't go to that site.

I can, however, go to the site using a proxy BUT I can't go beyond the landing page. This started about 6 months ago for me. Neither my desktop or laptop can access relianceindiacall.com

It's a pain to go to the library to recharge the card.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

I am not in St Louis MO. I am in Minnesota and don't know why my location shows up as St Louis MO.. Maybe it's teh default.

Unplug the cable modem from power, wait a few seconds, then plug it back. Then see it works.

I did that many times, Anil. I even did a fresh reinstall of my OS. It just does not work with my connection. Charter told me it was not blocking any site and the techs on their end could access the site. But thanks for the suggestion,
