Hello Kathie,

My name is Abby Catron, and I am a Senior Social Media Specialist for Charter. Unfortunately, we do not have agreements with CBS or FOX for OnDemand content at this time. I do know that we have Fox OnDemand as one of the top priorities on our wish list. It might not be until 2013 when we can get it, but we are still trying. We would also be more than happy to submit your feedback to marketing so please send an e-mail to [email protected] with your name, address, and phone number. Also, please put “CharterAbby – Topix - Kathie“ in the subject line so that I can keep an eye out for the e-mail.

Here’s a link to the Charter Social Media Team webpage for your reference: http://www.charter.com/Umatter2Charter .

Thank you,

I'd rather see you make CBS a priority. Why no CBS on demand? Xfinity has had them for years.

After driving a truck for a year then coming from Florida to Nebraska it seems you are behind in times here. I don't think there is any good reason why you can't come to some kind of agreement with fox and CBS. This cable company should beable to way more than what you offer. I have one tv and one box and Internet and my bill is 158. I paid around that for 4 tvs and all rooms had boxes with all channels and Internet.

Are you serious? The 2 channel that has the best shows you don't have on demand?! Can you guys please come to some agreement with them and get them added. As much as I hate comcast, I will switch back to them (even though it seems like the same company) to get my channels.

I agree with Chynna completely. I would also switch to Comcast if I had that option available but I am stuck with the inferior Charter because Tn doesn't have. The competition in areas like Illinois does. They must have over twenty services to choose from, but here, you get whoever services your area. Why not try AT&T. Oh that's rightI don't have fiber
Optic phone lines so I can't. It is ridiculous that the two channels with all of the top rated shows are unavailable through Charter.

So I am new to Charter and so far where I live:

1. Can't watch the Lakers
2. CBS not available on demand

I also pay $158 for "Top Package" pfff...

Get your act together before you miss out on a lot of business. Get CBS AND Fox On Demand.

What is the problem here?

I agree with all of the other posts, either get with the times or allow another provider into the areas! Also, who is responsible for loading shows ondemand? Most are so far behind, very sad

I say dear old boys, and girls. whats with the anger. I remember some years back all we had was 3 channels, now theres like a 1000. Lets just be happy with what we do have, and thank god we have eyes to see the programing charter gives us and the ears to hear it.

I get your point John. The issue is that we are paying $150.00/month for these services, we can pay the same amount with other companies and have more services/options but those companies are not allowed to service Charter areas. Charter needs to step up and be competitive or allow us to have a choice in who provides service. When the day comes that we will be able to choose, Charter will most definately lose most of their customer base. That is a shame that businesses will only step it up when there is competition.

I have a questio about why it takes so long for charter to update their VOD. For weeks now new shows have been on and already in the 3rd or fourth week of running and VOD isn't updated. Also they advertise shows on demand that are not even listed. This seems to be a regular problem. I work 60 plus days a week and you can't record more than 2 shows at a time. I don't like this cable company much. I might go somewhere else.

I live in Michigan and also want to know why Charter On-Demand is not updating for as much as, in some cases, three weeks. For example, FX is lagging by 3 weeks. It's the end of July, and the most current episode of Wilfed is June 27. The most current episode of The Bridge is July 10. Longmire, on A&E, hasn't updated in two weeks. What's going on? We pay a lot of money for combined Charter services, and I expect VOD to be current within a week; certainly for the primetime free channels.

I called Charter customer service and the young lady told me there have been no reports of problems with On-Demand TV and I should call the networks in question to complain. Huh? I'm supposed to call FX, A&E, and other networks???

Is there some sort of fiscal year-end contract issue going on between Charter and networks that is at the root of this problem? I hope not. Frankly, the longer I wait for a show to update on VOD, the more likely I am to get fed up and just quit watching it altogether.

Why hasn't On Demand been updated with last weeks episodes. When you work odd hours you become dependent on weekly episodes. If you can't keep up with posting latest shoes, I won't bother watching.
