Carrollton Village Council announced at the May 29 meeting Chesapeake Energy has withdrawn their offer regarding gas and oil leasing.

wow, Good-ole boys screwed that up for Carrollton...haha..........now they will hopefully still stay in Carroll county....there is always acrage outside of carrollton, and they really wonder why everyone leaves.........
hope all the speed traps go back to 55, did ya notice on rt9? goes from 50 off 171 to 45 all the way to town then 35.......... when was this voted in? and by whom? just like the no pass left turners on strt43 in front of dollar general.......
for those who got fined, it states in dmv book that if you have to go around someone who is turning left and pavement provides you CAN pass them, not in Carrollton..........
how did this town survive this many years???????
