I was reading the things that were said the other day before they were removed. It's a shame if that person was real, I choose to believe that she was a troll looking for attention. My son was a perfect baby (I still think he's perfect). He has cerebral palsy due to a massive stroke. My nephew has autism.
It's odd those posts were removed, but not the earlier ones with negative comments about kids with autism in general who are clearly trolls. I don't know if that person was real or not, I have run into some parents who are real resentful about having a disabled child, but never one who said such horrible things about their own child.
Having a child with autism certainly isn't easy, but some people cant see beyond that to ever see the child. I'm sure CP is also a struggle and I wish the best for your child. People need to make their own peace with whatever disability a child might have. I also have a great kid, autism and all. And you're right, on a general bases kids with autism are potty trained, but a few are not. It took my child until he was almost 5 to be fully potty trained. If a child drools, it's not due to autism.

“and how does this effect you?”

well mine does drool a little, he has moderate CP he can walk (most of the time) and talk (we can understand him). Anyone who has experience with autism knows they don't drool or whatever. I have a very dear friend with one who has autism, if you saw him in a store, you wouldn't know he has it. I spend a lot of time with them so I can tell it. My nephew is affected enough you can tell it but is perfectly functional.

How lovely. With autism rates in the U.S. at 1 in 88 or greater, we can all look forward to having children and grandchildren on the spectrum. Thanks Pharma for injuring so many.

Sell the pharma stock in protest and buy stock in companies that make paper towels for all the drool and diapers for all the crapped pants sure to ensue from these autistic rejects.

Karma will allow you negative and hopeless idiots to see how special these autistic children and adults really are, you obviously have not experienced much in life to be talking like that.....how sad for you. You would be lucky to be able to meet an autistic child or autistic adult, you have no idea what you are talking about, and obviously don't know a thing about autism. Get off the computer and out into the real world, it's YOUR brain that's rotting.
