What insanity. Apparenlty the conservationists simply don't want elephants to be in a zoo environment. That would leave them all in the wild, in rapidly disappearing habitat, and subject to poachers and lack of good food and water. Great. Where were these great objections before this new elephant habitat was planned? Why aren't these objections being directed at smaller, lower quality exhibits? Someone is adding two plus two and coming up with a solution other than four.
