Yes Chris Dodd...That LOONY thieving CROOK!....He bought half of IRELAND with the money he got from them....

Sen. Dodd’s Ireland vacation cottage worth $660k

HARTFORD, Conn.— A new appraisal more than doubles the value of U.S. Sen. Christopher Dodd’s Irish cottage, a vacation home that is the subject of an ethics complaint by a conservative group that questions if it was really a gift.

The property is valued at 470,000 euros, or about $660,000, on a financial disclosure report provided to The Associated Press on Friday by Dodd’s office. The previous year’s report valued the seaside home, located in County Galway, at between $100,001 and $250,000.

None of this money was federal money and none of the politicians asked for a special rate. Angelo arranged those special rates on his own for all of his close associates in politics and across a wide scope of industries. He owned the Company, he had the power to determine the rates he lend money, he's in the mortgage business. That only makes sense.

Chances are if you pal around with members of a Banks' Board of Directors you are likely to get a better rate and avoid the process other lenders have to go through for a loan.

Success in America is based on "Who you know" not always what you know.

This is another distraction, especially when it's clear that Newt Gingrich was key in getting legislation approved in Washington during this period and influencing members in the House of Representatives for Fannie and Freddie.

Have there been any comments yet from the leprechaun who co-signed Dodd's "loan"?
