absorption of solar radiation in photovoltaic cells, which is much higher in materials composed of nanoparticles than it is in thin films of continuous sheets of material. In this case, the smaller the particles, the greater the solar absorption. note; large flat sheets of thin nano glass produced in a vacuum can be made thinner and sronger and will bend without breaking and is cheaper to produce than normal glass; and is ideal for solar cells; because it lets in more light energy; and stays cooler;
