Yes, this is one of the creditable campuses out there, I graduated from the DMS program and I couldn't be happier, I am working and their career services department helped me get the job. I'm sorry everyone is having issues but this campus is good.
Can you tell me where you work? Can you tell me how your viewed out in the field because you graduated from SBI? I am so torn, I got into TRI-C's program but don't want to wait another year. But everyone is telling me no employers want to hire SBI graduates because they don't get a good education. I just don't want to make a huge mistake by leaving tri-c. Please HELP!

I just spoke to one of the reps at one of the New SBC in San Antonio. Of course I was going to check on any negative feedback from any previous employees and/or students and I find these reviews to be very depressing. I was hopefull because I work with two indivuals that attended SB and they both are making excellent money. One graduated 13yrs ago, and the other a little over a yr ago. They were the reason why I got interested in even considering getting into the cardiovascular program. But then again, the tuition is just insane!!!! What websites would show what colleges or institutes are accredited???? Anyone!

Those are the exceptions to rule. I taught at Sanford Brown until I couldn't live with myself any more. They are officially full of ****. At present their reputation is poor at best. You can take any of their substandard programs at a legitimate Junior College for far less. NONE of your credits will transfer ANYWHERE. Avoid this school it is a ripoff. I strongly advise you NOT to waste your time or money going to the sham of an institution.

I am truly sorry to hear your stories. I am enrolled at SBI Pittsburgh and I have nothing but great things to say about them. They were honest and up front about fees and transfer credits. I took the responsibilty of talking to people in the field I was getting into about SBI. There reputation is outstanding, employers wait for graduates. The person complaining about attendace, if you are in a medical program, grades are only apart of it. To keep being accredited the students have to be there x number of hours.
Not true. I never missed a day and had all A's and my credits didn't transfer.

This degree is of know good purpose. I waisted One whole year of my life going to this school. The Finacial Aid advisors are completely clueless. The instructors seek revenge on students if they cross them. The envirnoment is not professional at all or beneficial to anyone. This school should be shut down.

This school lies about credits being transferable, even with an associate degree they will not transfer.
I was given two online colleges, by my rep. after investing their sites, I discovered that neither college offered a bachelors program in the liberal science field. Obviously my rep. failed to check her sources before she gave me this list. Save your hard earned money and precious time, go to a real college, or learn your lesson the hard way.

Im an employee of SBC and I would have to agree with all of the comments made. When i first came to SBC I thought wow I have a chance to change the lives of people with the knowledge if have gain from 12years experience. Well much to my surprise I quickly found out that it was about the money and nothing else.

i worked at a student loan company after i was unable to find a job in the field i trained for at sanford brown. not only did i learn personally what a rip-off they were but i saw time and time again people with loans who either had no job skills after attending sbc or quit before finishing because they were unhappy with the program. sbc just wants to get you in the door, get your student loans, and then they figure you can deal with the goverment about your student loans if you aren't happy.

I went to Sanford Brown in trevose Pa in 9/08-7/09 and wasted months of time, money, and hard work for nothing. I am ready to file a suit as well please contact me @ tink1277@comcast.net. I have a 15,000.00 student loan for nothing they did nothing but lie to me only to finish classes and not be able to do a externship. I went for ultrasound and was told I could do that after I finished the ma program.

I go to the st.peters campus and at first i was told that i would be placed in a job after graduation... i graduate in Dec. of 2010 and from reading this site.... i guess thats not going to happen. the admissions officer was so full of s***, she lied big time. i do believe that it is all about the money. Then all the instructors teach you like your 12 years old. I would never recommend someone to sbc. never!!! I just started in jan 2010, and im already to get out of here. SANFORD BROWN IS FULL OF LIES!!!!! no joke!

How can you be so decieved by SBC? I am a current student and dont worry I do well (against your demeaning remark that negative people dont) I have a 4.0 to be exact, and lets just say that you are completely decieving others by your comment, this school is a joke and not only does it reputation suck, its accreditation does to, it is highly unlikely that no matter how well I do here i will get a job just becase as soon as I mention sanford brown employers look the other way.. The materials are out of date, the course work is aweful and not relevant. I think this was a complete waste of $17,000.00 and trust me that is a lot of money for a crap education with instuctors that only have the basic knowlege of what they teach. the instructors are under educated and ofter SBC graduates that took the same course and were offered a job. Again this place is a joke and I would recommend that no one waste their time or money here as it is to no benefit. Please dont mislead people further with your misdeception.

I want to know how to join the lawsuit, just finished in december, all of a sudden after 2 months of being done I have a balance of $894 that wasn't there before.. I can't find a job. They ignore the hell out of you once you get out. they won't release my transcript unless I pay. The crap they taught me wasn't on the RMA.. and the classes were bs and so were the students.. there is no structure or balance and they don't freaking care. I was told it definately was an accredited school, they would help me find a job and they haven't and won't.. want to sew for the tution back

I just recently graduated with my associates in sandford-brown college and when I first started, my admissions reps told me that they were accrediated. Therefore I attented the college and soon enough after my associates, I tried transferring out of the college to another one for the RN program. The admissions rep had notify me that they will not take any of my credits at sanford-brown college because that college does not meet the standard requirements of a reagular college. TO be honest I regret it but still recieved my associates. Im not sure if that associates would be able to get me anywhere due to the fact that sanford-brown is not an accrediated college.

Hi There:
I can relate to your failure stories. I am graduate from 2005 for massage therapy in Tampa. I only had one interview no externship and the teachers changed more than I cahnged my undies. The curriculm was never a guarantee. I ad about 6 teachers within 6 months and get this they took out a private loan without my knowledge, It is not a school loan but they say I'm in default. I can't be in default because I am registered at Hillsborough Community College and I am receiving financial aid. If my student loan was in default I would have not been able to register at HCC. The business manager at the school told me I don't owe the school any money I had a hold on my account from corporate. She told me financial aod and my student loans didn't cover all of my expenses and I had to take out a in house loan to cover the rest. Here's the thing I never signed anything for this "private loan" FRAUD all over the board. I am speaking to an attorney forthepeople.com regarding this matter. If anybody wants to join in on building this case I am looking into filing a class action lawsuit for the Tampa case. Feel free to email me at lghant96@yahoo.com or go the attorney's website and let them know your situation and that you want in on the lawsuit. Thanks so much you guys these people needs to be brought to justice and it needs to happen now. It brings tears to my eyes when I see people enroll everyday and probably not knowing they are being swindled out of their money and not for a real college experience or education. I am successfuly enrolled at HCC in paralegal training which is where my heart has always been and I will be ecstatic when I do my intern which is mandated that paralegals participate in a pralegal internship. Best of luck and wishes to all of you and I'm so sorry we have to go through this. For al the people who say we are bashers you must work for them because I received A's and B's throught my entire program and years later no job. People will not hire students from Sanford Brown. And you're right you say we have to apply myself and I am doing that now with financial aid at HCC and pursuing a degree I would love, a school thats accredited, internship, at a gurantee transfer of credits this is real community college fuckin jack asses!
