Face facts what the Democrats did was in violation of the 1st amend. You know as well as I that these people are using their office to silence a private citizen. They should be impeached and removed from office. Now Henry Waxman has jumped on the bandwagon by calling in the head of the FCC while his staff investigates talk show content. Get a clue buddy, your freedom of speech is under attach.

"Face facts what the Democrats did was in violation of the 1st amend."

Asking someone to repudiate a comment is not a violation of the first amendment. The amendment reads "congress shall make no law" not "congress shall write no letters."

Who needs to get their facts straight?

Have you heard the full content and context used?

I did.

The reference is to a number of people *pretending* to be soldiers in order to obtain benefits.

Those people are the 'phony soldiers' being talked about, not the people who were really there.

How was this any different from the Republicans' condemnation of MoveOn.org ? Personally, I'm equally opposed to both, because I believe strongly in free speech. MoveOn shouldn't have said what they said, but the Senate shouldn't have condemned them. What Rush said was disrespectful too, and the Senate didn't have the right to condemn him either. Let's stop using a double standard.

Rush was right on! He said that the phony soldiers,(was talking about people who clearly were not military), calling in to his show and denegrating our President, were liars and fakes. True, true, true. I hate posers and fakers. You see them all the time in life - "I was a Navy Seal" blah blah blah. If you were not in military and pretending to be military, or you're a Democrat, just shut up and admit to yourself, that you need true men and strong women to defend you and your whiny butts.

None of you libs want to address Waxman's using his office and staff to attack talk radio. Oh, by the way Buba Clinton's Chief of Staff is now pushing of "promise vs performance" if a station does not deliver then a significant percent of their profits go to NPR. If you cannot see whats going on you need to start getting educated before next year.

MoveOn, Media Matters are very far left group that are funded by George Soros .

They will take words and sentence out of contents and spin it to there advantage. The best way that you would understand is they will tell a lie just to push the Communist agenda.

The people they slander try to show that they will lie and then they present the truth then that is attacking by your standard.

Itís a fact that the left does not like people to tell the truth. There only one truth for a lib and that there version of the truth anything else is a lie.

They can not handle the truth because it shows us who they are.

Who would won't to wipe Webb shoe he continue to step in every pile he can with his foot and his mouth.

Moreover, for you. You must be deaf or blind because the "phony soldiers" statement was the real "phony soldiersĒ that was reported by ABC and comments by Rush. Are you that stupid that you cannot hear or see the truth?

If you are a great supporter of the Webb, why donít you ask him about his Drive-by act in Watts CA. and his thinking of women in the Military? Oh I am sorry that to much truth for you or am I attacking Webb with the truth.

RUSH LIMBAUGH'S AUCTION OF ORIGINAL "HARRY REID SMEAR" LETTER GOES FOR $2,100,100: A RECORD-BREAKER ON EBAY FOR CHARITY AUCTION

Do you remember this libs and to top a match by Rush $2,100,100 bring the total to $4,200,200 and it goes to The Marine Corps Ė Law Enforcement Foundation.

Have you seen any of the fools that sign the letter match the $2,100,100? No because they have been shown who they are. A group of cowards that can only push a lie just to prove that 41 Democrats are just plain stupid and they will do anything to take a way your rights.

As for Jim Webb, he has shown that he is coward. With his racial hits at woman and black VA made a big mistake putting him in office. The only thing he has shown me is he can kiss the feet of Dingy Harry and we have all seen what he has step in. Check the ware spots on Webb pants because he does not listen to the people that elected him.

Bottom line is that in this country, we have free speech, regardless of how it is received or perceived. That's what makes us different than just about any other country in the world. Free speech protects comments from blowhards as well as people like Imus. At least it did until he crossed the line and the PC police routed him. I deplore the hate mongering rhetoric of Sharpton and Jackson, NAACP babble, KKK jibberish, etc, but they have the right to say whatever they want to say without fear of retribution. Myself, I get all steamed up when people denigrate our soldiers, take God out of the pledge, or refuse to learn our language, but again, that's a protected freedom in this country. When you censor free speech, you hurt all of us. God, I hate that sometimes.

So it's ok for a group like MoveON or Media Matter to make a statement that is known to be a lie then you should not point out the truth because you are attacking them. Therefore, if you make a statement you should not speak out against the statement.

What Rush said was disrespectful too. How do you justify this statement when he did not say what the Media Matter portrayed as the truth and the fool in the senate jump on the bandwagon with the same lie?

You need to expand your life and read all the information that before you not just one statement but all sides... Then you should be able to come to a truthful solution. Then when you tell all us your opinion that you would sound credible with your statement.

Like it or not Rush's auctioning of "the letter" was a brilliant example of free speech and what it can accomplish. It also showed that his promotional team(and he) is very smart. The savvy thing for the opposing side to have done, would have been to buy it back so THEIR money would have gone to the troops. Instead...Rush made them look(once again) anti-troop, anti-free speech & anti-USA.

don't they do that enuff on thier own with actions like sir hillary takes on anti free trade topics, anti economy taxation etc?? what both sides of the isle are doing is having a peeing match with eachother just cause one side attacked the others... moveon.org is a farce that will use any tactic they can to make u believe their bs.. the republicans shouldn't even give them 2 seconds of thought caus it only pertends to give them credibility they don't have to begin with. free speach is free speach and half the time when someone does something idiotic it shows up on its own.. we don't need to talk about it to justify it anymore.
