Gary West and the entire "building" department are at the very heart of why our town continues to drive away business and developers. Often they will impose absurd "fees" for permits, to the extent that MANY construction projects languish, die or are done without these onerous permits. West is uncooperative and untruthful in his dealing with the public and if we are to move forward and dig out of the mess past city council members and their friends have put us in this overpaid, career bureaucrat would have to go. Unfortunately, protected by his union, no one in city hall has the guts to remove him; and so it goes.

Welcome again to Vallejo, "THE CITY THAT CAN'T !" You can't do this and you can't do that so why don't all of you productive folks just pack up and leave us to languish in our bankruptcy. What a bunch of pathetic losers are infesting our city hall.

Get rid of the billboard completely. It's an eyesore.
