I stopped listening to them couple of years ago, when they started playing all Christmas music BEFORE Thanksgiving. I emailed them to complain and they rather snottily replied that they HAD to do what their listeners wanted. Well, not what this listener wanted, so I "walked". Never been back.

Another aquisition for the Dolans? They're now in all media except radio.

Hopefully WALK will go off the air forever saving people from being mindless drones in their offices. UGH.

Maybe we can finally get a decent rock station instead of this instead of the trash on the other ones.

Well, I don't like the constant Christmas music either, but I know how to turn the dial on my radio too. When their done, I turn them back on! Simple.

Other than that, I like WALK-FM. I can rely on Pat Pagano and the other meteoroligists for the mostly accurate weather reports.

I can rely on Cindy and Mark to give me firsthand reports on what it's like driving into work during inclement weather in the morning.

I like the fact that their music is decent and clean.

I also like the reports on what men like or don't like and what women like and don't like, etc.

In short, I wake up to them in the morning and listen to them as I'm getting ready for work and also when I'm driving home from work.

The one good thing I have to say about the Christmas music is that last winter, we had a really bad ice storm and I was in the car on my way home in bumper to bumper traffic and scared. Instead of getting all bent out of shape and getting high blood pressure, I turned on WALK-FM and sang along with the Christmas Carols and that made the ride enjoyable and a whole lot less stressful. In short, they got me through it all like a good friend.

Thanks WALK!
