This station is a train wreck. Kirk & Mark are done & have been so since 98 Rock dumped them. How many people have been let go from CBS to pay for their contracts? This Troy Johnson guy on from 10-12 is a racist. Wilson is doing a show from Toledo & we're supposed to buy he's a Baltimore guy? Ed Norris should move to WBAL & let this station finish imploding. When it comes to radio, CBS doesn't have a clue.

Woo hooo!!! Another uninformed, ignorant idiot with a radio talk show. Broadcast from Toledo to clown on Maryland of all things! The jokers at HFS that made this deal should be sacked immediately.

Great, just what our area needs, yet ANOTHER libertarian/conservative half-wit voice on the radio.

I'm glad this station saved the "HFS" call letters only to turn it into the antithesis of WHFS of the 80s & 90s.

No wonder people don't listen to the radio anymore.

I'm sure if you research his past in Balto you'll find issues that no one wants to talk about. If I remember correctly this guy fancies himself as a ladies man. Baltimore needs new blood for its radio programs. Rouse, Wilson and the others need to go somewhere else for good.

what a joke. the entire format aside from Don and Mike is the poorest excuse for radio that I have ever heard. if the O's didn't get duped into broadcasting over their airwaves, the whole station would be non-existent. Ed "the victim" norris' show is by far the worst thing on the radio and that fool that is on from 10-12 may actually be worse. It makes no sense that those shows still ahve support.... well, I guess if O'malley can get elected, it makes perfect sense....

I hate CBS for bastardizing the WHFS brand. That's a special place in hell reserved for Les Moonves.

So now we can get a full 6 hours of O'Malley bashing from Brian & Ed "Ex-Con" Norris? How wonderful.

Let me know when the O's games are on. With no HFS music, no HFS personalities, and no HFS values, this WHFS is about as far away from the original as you can get.

Thank God for WRNR. Boost your signal, boys!

I disagree, I like this station and these changes will make them better. Kirk and Mark were not dumped by 98 Rock. 98 Rock was to cheap to pay their people so they let the best morning show go. Mickey and Amelia are absolutely horrible and if you are paying attention all the loyal 98 rock listeners are starting to realize it. Moving Ed Norris to the afternoon is smart. Now Baltimore finally has an all local talk radio station that isn't just news or sports. I grew up in Baltimore and 98 Rock was pretty much the only station I listened to but when they let Kirk and Mark go I lost alot of respect for the station. Now when I tune into 98 Rock I find myself getting annoyed quickly and changing the station. I'm not so sure about Brian Wilson but its in the middle of the day so if he does flop its not a big loss and if he does well then they can move him. It's kind of similar to what they did with Ed Norris. No one knew how he would do and he ended up doing very well and is moving to a better spot.

I think CBS has made some smart moves. I know someone was complaining about how HFS isn't what it use to be. Maybe it isn't what it use to be for a reason, like it wasn't profitable? I liked HFS back in its old days but I also understand that it costs money to run and if it isn't making money it has to go. Would you prefer this was an all spanish channel rather then the only all local talk radio channel?

So now we in Baltimore need to outsource our "local" radio personalities to Toledo? What next China? What a fraud!

And I agree about what was done to HFS - they should have just let those call letters die. Weasle must be turning over in his radio grave!

Nah, Weasle's not dead, he's busy with his AM drive time gig on CBS-owned "the Globe" down in DC. I can't listen to him anymore. Sad. Nice to see that "RNR" has picked up the cream of the old HFS crop.

WHFS hasn't been the same since the 102.3 days. This HFS is completely different, although I hear they play music on HFS2.

I like Kirk and Mark on HFS, as I made the switch with them. Not sure I like losing the Don & Mike (or now the Mike O'Meara show), I've listened to that forever...going way back, and was quite excited when they moved to FM on Live 105.7 (HFS). I'd rather have Norris remain in the noon-day time frame. Not sure I like the switch to Brian.

O, 98 Rock knew what they were doing when Kirk & Mark left. If you knew anything about it, they told Mark they were done with him & only offered Kirk a contract. Hard to believe, but it took them 10 years to realize it was time to get rid of that no talent Squeeler fan. So off to CBS they went &somehow got them to give them big contracts. K&M also thought they would get syndicated by CBS. Now, over a year later, the 105.7 ratings are still dismal & they are paying these 2 big money. & they still aren't syndicated. They gave them big contracts for nothing. The best days of K&M have been behind them for a while. Towards the end of their 98 Rock run it was like they were phoning it in. I don't know what you call what they're doing now, but it's pathetic. Mickey & Amelia beat them every ratings book, it's not even a contest. I am from Baltimore too, not Phoenix.

Thank God I have SIRIUS!! The only local radio I used to listen to we Don&Mike (for 15 years!) and now that they are gone I have no reason to tune in anymore. I guess it is true what they say, you get what you pay for! Free radio is free....free of anything worth listening to!

I would agree that Kirk & Mark were phoning it in towards the end of the 98 Rock days, but I think I would too. After Lopez died, the show was kind of in a free for all, and from what I could tell, they really didn't seem to gell with the new news guy (Speigal?). When he was on, I couldn't take it anymore and switched to ESPN Radio and other random shows. I've always like K&M, and feel comfortable with their show. I like Mickey as a comedian, but its too early in the morning for me, for that kind of humor. That's just my personal preference.

I don't know anything about this Brian guy, but I guess he ticked some people off in Dundalk or something. Who's he teaming up with? Aubrey Huff
