Good grief! Who edits this stuff? The lead should read that profits fell to 19 cents from 21 cents. And the "measure" is nonperforming assets as a PERCENTAGE of loans, or provision for loan losses as a PERCENTAGE of loans, not what is written in this article.

Look, if you don't know the business lingo, please don't write the story.
