I am very sorry to hear that Christopher & Banks is doing so badly. I love their clothes and it is the only place that I shop for clothing for myself. Hang in there Christopher and Banks!

The hand writing is already on the wall. They should cut their losses and close their doors and not neccessarily in that order. This is another example of how the redistribution of wealth is going to take place and continue to especially permeate the retail sector. Anyone who does not think outside the box is not going to survive the fall-out. The demogrphics are already in place for a massive retail failure. I went to lowly Fleet Farm today and left. There were few legitimate deals at least on what I was looking at and it appeared they had jacked up their prices by 20% in order to absorb their 20% off promotion. I had $1800 dollars cash in my pocket when I walked in the door and I intended to spend in thier store and I walked out with 1800 dollars and did not even buy a pack of gum. The place looked like a morgue with few shoppers in it to begin with. If they want to get their inventories down they need to roll back their prices to where they used to be just a few years ago. I find a $49.00 price tag on a mens hooded sweatshirt absolutely nonsensical and at Fleet Farm of all places.. Please...give me a break. Obviously they are just another retailer in a long line of them that does not understand the concept of the redistribution of wealth.
