coolant system high pressure when cold

How do you know it has high pressure? Does it force the radiator cap open & blow coolant on the ground from the overflow hose?
Does it stop leaking, or does the pressure go down once the engine warms up?
If it stops when warm, the you have combustion escaping from one of the cylinders into the cooling system. The most likely cause would be an injector cup o-ring, when they leak antifreeze can get into that cylinder & burn-off (white smoke) and it also lets combustion pressure into the cooling system. A small crack in one of the cylinder liners can also cause the same symptoms!

Ken my c15 started to lose coolant too and just had a over haul but don't think he changed the injectors or the cups so I think this is what mine is doing
