Yesterday it happened a couple of times when i was waiting for my load, I was just sitting in my truck idling and the truck suddenly wants to shuts off (not completely shut off) and turned back on by itself right away less than a second... and it happened while Im driving too, same thing it wants to shuts off and it comes back on by itself... other than that the truck runs perfect, it doesn't shake and no it doesn't smoke... I took it to my mechanic and they plug in the OBC to check for codes but no codes were found... have anyone experience this before?? pls give advice...
I've changed the Throttle Position sensor.... need to calibrate it though..
change all the cat filters and oil, check the wires going to the battery but no luck same thing... what else could it be and what sensor or wire can cause the truck to do that?

sounds to me like an wiring harness failure. i've had similar symptoms on Euro 3 C15 and C18. eventhough in theory it should not be possible, some ECM's can not create or indicate a failure code or event if the troublemaker comes and goes too fast. i cant say how long the treshold is but for example if you unplug one of the speed sensors of an ACERT engine, it'll take about 2 seconds until the ecm logs it as a fault code.
In one particular case, which had the similar symptoms, had a failed socket crimp on the J2 ECM connector (vehicle harness). it was found during the "wiggle test" which can be performed using Cat ET. i recommend you find the nearest Cat Dealer, the test is rather simple to do.

Check the plugs on ECM (computer) clean with electrical contact cleaner and apply di-electric grease to plugins.....try that

sound like youre trying to hook up the harnesses the wrong way.
the engine wiring harness uses the 70 pin connector. the vehicle wiring harness, which you are trying to mate to the ecm, has a 40 pin connector and connects to the P1 port (also 40 pin).
older ecm's (ADEM 2) had both ports 40 pin, all newer ones have a 70 pin port for engine harness.
the vehicle harness port is allways a 40 pin port on engines from C7 through C32

My friend
You can plug in ET and you car run the wiggle test. You actually move by hand all the vehicle harness connected to the engine and see the changes

I have CAT 3508 with a EMS II on it. I received an service code MID 30 CID 324 FMI 03 but I can not find what sort of code or failure this could be.

Yep my dad and brothers Silverados had that same problem. We just couldn't figure it out till i had a crazy thought that maybe something is wrong with the AIR INTAKE CENSOR. I put an AEM air intake in my dads and my brother put a K&N in his. And about 6 months later had this problem, so it must've mest up something? NEVER had a problem after that.

YES IT DOES SOUND LIKE A WIRING HARNESS ISSUE..IF ECM IS IS WORKING ...AND THE ENGINE ISNT RECORDING ANY FAULT CODES AND THERE IS INTERMITTENT SIGNALS... IT CANNOT BE THE ECM..
WHATS HAPPENING IS SOMEWHERE IN THE HARNESS THERE IS WIRING OR PIN CONNECTOR(S) THAT IS CORROSIVE OR LOOSEN FROM WEAR OR MOISTURE OR BOTH....THIS WILL CREATE AN INTERMITTENT SIGNAL TO SENSORS..FROM ECM.
RECOMMEND CHANGING OUT HARNESS...DJ

Hello Ifound the code in special instruction media number REHS0126-16. MID 30 is cat monitoring sys. CID 324 is warning light(auction). FMI 03 is voltage above normal.

Check the wires at the batteries and see if one of them is weak. The positive and ground feeds are usually there. These are your feeds for the ECM
