Hey O'Reilly guys, corporate that is. Should us CSK employees pack our bags and start moving on? Address your new employees in a timely manner or the ship jumping will commence. We like our jobs and most of us that have been with CSK for a while now are suddenly facing a bleak future if your intentions are to "clean house". Make your intentions clear please.

I think this is great news, according to my boyfriend O'Reilly's is not looking to clean house, of course it's probably not keeping everyone but the majority of the employee's don't need to worry, there are going to be alot of changes to come :)

I have been with CSK for 5 years. I hope that O'reilly comes in and gives us more parts!!! I am tired of doing endless amount of stock withdrawals and stock reductions on auto parts. I am sending parts out and getting toys and air freshner displays back in return!!! Another thing, I am tired of getting over lapping products! I really don't need 4 different brands of floor jacks and fifty different brands of flashlights. I need parts dammit!!! We are supposed to be Checker auto parts...not Checker auto mart!!!

If you'd like to know how O'Reilly handles acquisitions, look-up and call some of the stores in the N.W. part of your state (Eau Claire, Rice Lake, Spooner). They were formerly Bumper-to-Bumper. I am a store mgr and I made 2 trips up there during the changeover...we were very well received! Hang in there!!!

Okay so CSK hasn't been doin so well on the hard parts in some stores. I also agree that my store needs more hard parts It seems that the stores are not set up quite as good as they could but that can change. Oreilly,s is huge. This is going to open up alot of doors and areas of getting parts. We should be able to go onto a parts network that strecthes from one side of the nation to the other. I am really looking forward to the change over and am in great expectations about what wll happen. Remember those of you who have many years of experience that you are as important to Oreilly,s as they are to you. They have purchased a buisness not just parts and buildings and you are a major part of that buisness. Looking forward to many years of working with you all.

I have been with CSK for 10 years now. I have seen alot of stuff that we don't need. I have customs asking me for stuff that we do not have or we can not get. Part of that is because we have other things instand. Want I would to see in our store is more farm type stuff. And more hard parts. I have seen same changes being made already.
I live in Idaho

O'Reilly needs to dump the PC nonsense if they want this outfit to survive. People want good parts, good service, and good prices without the PC hiring practices that CSK has been forcing on their customers for the last 10 years or so.
