How many times can I apply for visa extension

Hi there. To begin with, I came in Canada from the Philippines July of 2012 with a visitor visa and assumed that I can stay for six months since the immigration officer did not stamp any date on my passport. I went to the US last August to visit my cousins in Chicago. When I came back in Canada a week after, the officer at the border didn't stamp any date again on my passport. On the following month, I went to Buffalo, New York and when I crossed the border going back to Toronto, the officer gave me six months to stay from that date so the validity of my stay expires on March 2013. On February 5, 2013 I applied for extension and when I received the result last May 15, it said that I have to leave Canada by July 5, 2013 ( by the way, that's the date that I asked for my extension). My question is, would it be fine if I go the the US by 3rd week of june and then come back again in Canada after a week since I still have up until July 5 to stay in the country? I would also like to mention that I have a multiple visa which will expire on February 2014. Can i apply again for an extension? Thank you and hoping that you can give me pieces of advice.
