Just so you know...when I said, "I hate it for them" I meant, I'm saddened for them. I didn't mean that to sound hateful. I feel sorry for them.

Yeah and KinderCare? What about the BSA, HomeOwner's/Auto Insurance,
Insurance Claims, logging insurance, logging CCCS payments, NSF's and so on and so on. We have to do this as well, along with every thing that you and Ginny mentioned. Conference calls...training.

I've heard about the Aug1 round of CFS closings. Absolutely no warning. The closing centers will be open until Aug31. They do get a severance-60 days non-working period (full pay & benefits). After that the severance is according to company policy, 2 weeks pay for every year of employment.

Sad thing is the lies they told everyone on the conference calls. The closings had NOTHING to do with expired leases, performance, or SAFE licensing. It sickened me to hear Ray tell everyone that they just need to be sure they are one of the "top performers" to avoid losing their jobs and having their centers closed. If you're a Citifi employee...LOOK at the numbers (the FIRST rankings report to come out for July)! Compare that to the closing centers. You'll see that they did not close the 'bottom of the barrel'.

IMO, they're liquidating and no one is safe from losing their job. All the employees I know worked exceptionally and are casualties of greedy top execs.

BTW, all the Kitty Hawk employees were not SAFE licensed, 3 out of 6 were and the remaining 3 were very close to having theirs completed.

CITI needs to rid it self of you and will do whatever it takes to do so. Your savior will be being purchased by someone who wants to pursue sub prime lending.

The sinking ship is just that, a sinking ship. You people can't see the writing on the wall. The service centers are set up for a specific purpose--to liquidate! What happens when the liquidation is complete? Closure! Unless the full service branches are bringing in enough business to create a larger delinquency problem to ensure the service centers live to collect another day. Doubtful per my conversations with friends who still work for Citifinancial. 6 loans per month per employee staffed at 3? Certainly would make the old ROC program look stupid... It's sad what the consumer finance industry has been minimized to. I actually thought about trying to go back because I missed the challenges that were set forth. However, based on what I hear, the full service branches will also be liquidated, once sold. Good luck.

I'm really poor and citifancial picks on me there is this woman that works there.She calls my house 500 times a day so I just finally hang up on them.There is only one sweet person there.Yes,they do monitor you when you walk in.I'm tired of being picked on because I have nothing its called the name/stupid game.

So, let me get this straight. You are a customer who is behind on your payments? Citifinancial is not picking on you. You signed a contract promising to pay us back the money that you borrowed from us...and we would simply like our money back.

Do they have cameras? Let me ask you something? If you loaned your brother-in-law 500.00 and he told you he would pay you each month...and he didn't pay you...what would you do? I can assure you that this lady isn't calling you 500 times a day to find out why you don't have a degree.
Why don't you just answer the phone when she calls you and talk to her. It would save HER a lot of time and save YOU a lot aggravation! Maybe then...they would treat you differently.

They are too busy calling each customer 500 times a day, because no one will CALL THEM BACK! THEY DON'T HAVE TIME to pull everybody's college transcripts! It's not a GRAD school!

Hell, I'm poor too and I HAVE a college degree. Why don't you just talk to these people. You are the reason the woman treats you the way she does. You can't dodge them, so you need to make some kind of arrangement with them. It would help you both.

500 times a day huh? Well we work 8 hours day, minus an hour for lunch, that leaves 420 minutes left in the day, she would have to call you more then once a minute. So she does nothing else all day, helps no other customers, never goes to the bathroom, never leaves her seat, but hangs up and calls you right back? Wow... why don't you just answer. Your an adult, pick it up and talk to her. She may be calling and trying to offer you some help. I can promise you we don't pick on people because they are poor. There are many employees here that consider themselves poor. And monitor you when you walk in?? Sound alittle paranoid to me. If you knew how many people we deal with in a given day, you would realize we don't really have time to monitor customers.
