citi deserves to go under, they went after me in college with freee pizzas and t shirts. I went 16.000 in dept and into bankruptcy, before I was 21.
I hope they burn in hell for they way they ruined the lives of my friends and thousands of other college students.

The blame for that lies with you. How stupid to blame anyone other than yourself for your lack of responsibility.

Someone should have gone to class instead of eating pizzas. I also saw the same people on campus giving away free items, I'm sorry to hear they forced you to sign those applications- did they hold you at gunpoint to sign or was it a knife? My heart goes out to the ignorant.

they know., they just want to keep us working on collections so when they sell us to a collection agency, we set up the portfolio., were going to get screwed very soon here., in 5-6 weeks its over.,

I really wish they would tell the people who work here what to expect! We have families to support. At least give us some idea of what is going on!

This stock price is not entirely based on the actual performance of the company, nor is it based on the capital stance of Citi. Most of the issue is speculation from people who are trying to get out while they can. These people have no idea what makes us different from Lehman, wachovia..etc... They only hear from the news that we are struggling. I bought several hundred shares this morning because there is no way a bank this big, a bank with this amount of capital, a bank with the amount of deposits that Citi has will fail. We may get bought out, or merge or something, however, we will not fail. BTW, any change that is made to our infastructure will take quarters to complete. So unless I am a part of the already 53,000 jobs that Pandit is cutting, I will have a job tomorrow.

I agree with you 100% I work in a branch in Texas, and we too just sit there and dial for dollars all frigin day long! They complain because we should have alot of loans, but heck no one qualifys now for a loan! They have made it so hard for us to do our job. When they put the new loan criteria into action I said out loud to my office "Citi is trying to commit suicide".....that's excatly what they are doing, only taking down alot of good employees with them! I hate my job!

I hate what is happening to everyone that has been loyal, honest employees. CITI just don't know what they have done i'm afaid! Too late now. CITI likes the element of surprise. Been there too in a buyout in 2001 on the 28th of dec what a way to start the new year. i still had a job but in a town 30 min away where i was 10 min from work prev. it sucked! they could atleast have the BALLS to let ya'll know ahead of time, but that ain't there way. ya know?

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
