My husband and I responded to a promise of "free" airline tickets several years ago. It's been our biggest financial mistake. All of those things alledged in the lawsuit happened to us. Hard sell (expected), being lied to (unexpected) and covering the evidence, said that we could accumulate points if we waited until the next validity period (untrue-we lost the first 8,000 points!), told us we had to wait a month to book, so we didn't know their deception until it was too late to back out! This PLUS exhorbitant fees throughout the year. I can hardly think about this without feeling my blood begin to boil. It's impossible to sell. I'm thinking of o\paying it off and donating it to charity...but, that would be a very man thing to do.
Thanks for allowing me to vent.

HI, Lynn,

I was just wondering did you find the wayout? We currently consulting a lawyer and thinking about pressing charges with the police department for theft in fraud. Any advice? Please eail me at aripatt@msn.com

We tried to donate ours to charity and even they won't take it. I would gladly give it away to anyone in order to get out. This year we had to pay an assesement and so our annual dues were $1900....we haven't used the timeshare in over 10 years and we still pay year after year. We offered to give it back to Bluegreen for free so they could resell but to no avail... they don't want it as long as they are getting a maintenance fee each year. I tooo am so angry about the whole thing. Let me know if you have any luck with an attorney

We had financial hardship and were 4 months late on our maintenance fee. Bluegreen sent to their collections and we were charged $758.00 in late fees. $758.00 for 4 months. $758.00
