Well, it DOES reduce unwanted pregnancies. That is what it was designed for. Why do you think people use it?
And even if it didnt reduce unwanted pregnancies or abortions in great numbers, does that mean no one should be allowed to use it?
Why do you care if a woman takes it? Are you stupid enough to view it as akin to abortion?
And there are risks with ANY drug. There are even risks with having children. Whats your point?
Ew......Um ...HELL's freezin over!!!!!(just kidding) I agree though completely ! The FDA tells us everyday that this and that is safe and then turn around and say "oops! sorry ! damn your luck!"

You simply have to make your choices, hope and pray and then face whatever comes (if anything) your way..

I think that IF this pill is safe - it is a good alternative.....IF not abused and IF some dont USE it and ABUSE it......which SOME will bc SOME are idiots..
But I dont speak / or have to account for the idiots..

well, those pregnancies that are reduced are essentially NOT aborted soooo.... wouldnt you think that the pro-lifers would be happy even if it reduces the abortions by a few???

I dont understand it - why arent they happy?

It seems like we have an answer to stop at least some abortions and they still are crying.

I think this is proof that its not just abortions that they are against it IS any form of birth control.

They have fallen under the mind control of the anti-choice agenda and are not listening to the truth. Their being spoon fed that anything that isn't their regular birth control must be an "abortion pill" and they are buying it. Just like they buy the "separate, living, person" myth and the "legal rights for fetuses" myth. Fortunately they are still the minority and have no real influence. Before long the official political climate will change, for a long time to come, and women won't have their rights threatened anymore. This "religious right" crap will become less fashionable. The press will no longer give them the time of day. Then these women will become more rational and will start hearing the reality of the matter.

NOT to be a thorn in one's side....(poke poke) but I DO believe that there IS a point where a baby (before birth) is and should be accounted for as a "seperate intity."
While I DO agree that some are probably so "main stream" that they ARE fighting for even BIRTH CONTROL methods.....I have to reitterate that there comes a point where that babie's life should be looked at as just as important as yours or mine or our children ..etc..
There IS a line and it should NEVER be crossed!

I see NOTHING wrong with this pill , except that the FDA are usually inconsistant idiots who place our lives in there hands daily. And there again we succumb to faith and prayer and trust...
Our lives are literally in their hands (unless your me and I dont trust a damn thing a doc OR drug co says...so I refrain...but that is MY problem...hehe)

Otherwise - this pill is NOT the same as abortion!

I made no reference to being 'happy' or 'unhappy'- I simply voiced a concern that things may backfire to so speak like it has in the UK. Since selling Plan B OTC to anyone/everyone (even teens w/o parental knowledge or consent) the number of abortions has actually INcreased rather than DEcreasied. "If" it really does signficantly reduce the millions of abortions each year in the US, great - but very few people really believe it will. We can wish, hope, though.

As you have pointed out before - it helps if you reply to who you are referencing (button - top right) but incidentally I agree. I don't feel abortion numbers will decrease statistically bc of this pill. And it COULD even actually increase promiscuity do to the "comfort" of it "being there." BUT that will be on THEM...NOT US.....Thank GOD!

But I was prepared for (and still have the responsibilities)
As they say it keeps you "young" and even more so when if your wife is young compared to you. OK

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Sagittarius

After all the excitement of the past few days you're longing for the chance to put your feet up and take life easy for a while. Ideally, you should bury your nose in a good book and be left alone until you resurface for a food transfusion. But you'll also enjoy chatting to someone you know very well and for whom you don't have to make a big effort, such as a close relative.
