Great! We can only blame ourselves for letting this happen as americans continue to buy chinese junk! Even after all the pet food recalls and deaths, the toys with lead paint, the anti freeze toothpaste....we are still buying their crap. They are building up their country and their at our expense and we Americans have complacently (sp?) sat by. Even our American flags are made there! That is just plain crazy!!! I was getting some nuts and bolts here at work together and where do you think they are from? China! Everything..China!
Makes me sick! Now, the question is, what can we do about it? I just don't buy it if it says "Made in China" .and as far as the china nuts and bolts here, I won't be getting anymore from that company either! Please America! Wake up! Read the labels and put it back if it is from that communist country...they are communists and it is just as much the politicians and these big corporations for moving all OUR jobs over there. People need to start boycotting these places and not buying their junk anymore! The bad thing is, and I hope it is not too late, there is not alot of choice for us anymore...they knew this would happen!

Its true we all support China every time we purchase somthing. The problem is that everything we purchase is made in china.
Its the manufactures that went to china and gained tax incentives to do so. That was stupid mr bush. But im sure he doesent care. I dont think he cares about the american public at all. We were sold down the river, So How do we as americans get back the soverty that we used to have when this was a real united contry like the era of world war II.

Folks, we're not only importing everything from them, we are also borrowing money like crazy from them. Did you know all of this has happened under Bush? The national debt has doubled under this president and now we evidently owe communist China nearly two trillion dollars! What bugs me is they won't even consider lifiting the trade embargo against Cuba, but eat China up. Who has some of the worst human rights abuses - China! Why do we like them so much - greedy for their cheap labor.

You are not alone in this situation. Everybody wants to save money to get richer or just buy more stuff. The Cuba situation is maintained to save face. That is unfortunate that the greed outweighs the pride that made your country so great. The US until no too long ago was an example to the world for having great freedom and the chance to be anything you wanted to be.
Q. What exactly happened?
A. Greedier people sold it to get richer.
Worst thing is, you, the people, will have to pay for it forever.

Not so funny story. I purchased a Prom Dress for one of my daughters from a store in Pennsylvania. They said because they had to make it the dress would be ready in 4-6 weeks. SOP. In 4 weeks I received a very small fedex style envelope from Xinhua Province China. It said "gift" on the envelope. The mailman had me sign for it. My daughter and I thought maybe they had sent a wrap for the dress. I mean this was so small it was the size of a piece of copy paper. We opened it and inside was the Prom Dress. I could get made and swear to make next years dress myself but when I buy the material and thread it will also be "made in China". Don't we make anything in America anymore? It is so disheartening.

I want US to get universal health coverage.
Moral hazard theory that this GOP health care is based on is fundamentally wrong. People will not go to hospitals more just because they do not pay for it directly. People will not run get some chemo even if they do not have cancer just because its “free”. Moral hazard theory is a Fraud. Increasing number of people even with some insurance that fall into high ticket illness go bankrupt . Let alone that do not have any insurance at all. System is created for profit maximization, not health care. Peoples lives are not a commodity to be made profit from or traded on wall street . It is not a mark of civilized society let alone number one country that we claim to be. It needs fundamental change, not cosmetic ones. Plus it will level the field for business in US to compete against other countries that have socialized healthcare in term of costs.
Thus a huge philosophical disagreement with Republicans. So I will advocate we change to Universal Health Care or medicare for all.
Instead we are busy bailing out wall street gamblers.

UHC (Universal Health Care)can be like Medicare but for all, delivery can be through “private” hospitals. So people are free to go where ever they like. Just that any doctor with a license has to accept UHC paying the bill to be in business. Countless surveys have found that most people that have Medicare like it . This will also free up business like auto industry for example from providing health care .
Europe , Japan , China all have UHC thus have competitive advantage , UHC in USA will just level the playing field. If you do not want jobs being shipped out demand UHC. Thus UHC will be a good boost to the economy and promote healthy citizens .
