Great propoganda slogan. "Honest change" What change? No answer. Why is it "honest"? Who says so and why do they say it since no one has said what the changes will be?

Chill out, Marxists. You were not destroyed in the Soviet Union, you were ignored for lack of interest. Change that line in "Peter Pan" to, "I do believe in socialism. I do believe in socialism".

It is our leader and comrade that has given this country to the Chinese and with out anyone firing a shot. His republican followers moved all the factory jobs to China, his republican bankers borrowed all the money from China and are insuring that China has enough oil to complete their plans to be the world’s greatest super power. Republican = commie lover. The republican greed whether it be money made from wars, fixing oil prices, fixing food prices or polluting half of China with filthy factories not to mention slave labor is ok as long as they are rich. The republicans better hope that standard of living moves up fast in China so the workers can afford their products or else they to will be in a world of hurt because it will not be long before the majority of Americans will be able to afford the cheap junk. You closet commie

Funny, the economy hasn't been this bad since George W. Bush's FATHER sent the economy into the toilet!

Bush’s “leadership” has given us gasoline at about $4.00/gallon and eggs at $2.49/dozen, plus a huge increase in unemployment, the U.S. being caught up in TWO horrible wars, and the stock market going "into the tank".
But these things aren't really that important. Just ask the Republicans. They’ll tell you the real problem: it must be... wait for it... wait for it... gay people!(Or maybe the big issue this week is that someone you don’t know got an abortion.)
-----
Remember back before Republicans forced OVERT religion into the political arena for their own selfish, political purposes?
Before that time, Americans often had a more civil exchange of opinions about issues like: prices for eggs, bread and gasoline, having enough jobs in America, building and maintaining highways, etc.
After Republicans succeeded in turning many people's attention to abortions and gays, we've had a complete disaster in the U.S.
During the Bush years, things have gotten worse and worse for most Americans, while the Republican EVERY-MAN-FOR-HIMSELF policies and warmongering have bankrupted the nation, both economically and socially. Their pseudo-religious zeal has even led to blatant lies to the American people (“Iraq has WMDs,”“Mission Accomplished,” etc.) while they advocated that America should TORTURE prisoners, then denied doing it.
Oh... and by trying to politicize religion, they’ve cheapened the APPARENT value of sincere spirituality.
The festering wound of the Republican party (which CLAIMED to represent “family values”) is the fact that they have had a huge number of sex scandals lately, some of them related to homosexual sex and/or sex in public bathrooms.
If for no other reason than to force them to re-examine their tactics and priorities, it's time to VOTE THE REPUBLICANS OUT!

I agree wholeheartedly. Whatever Bush says, believe the exact opposite, for that is what he really means. The pull-yourself-up-by-your-boots traps attitude of the Republicans is "I got my, now you get yours." Is the average American worker better off today than he or she was 8 years ago? Here in Ky. we have lost jobs right and left, now gas is taking a huge toll on people's incomes. Where do we go from here, to McCain. I hope and pray the American people are smarter than that.

I want US to get universal health coverage.
Moral hazard theory that this GOP health care is based on is fundamentally wrong. People will not go to hospitals more just because they do not pay for it directly. People will not run get some chemo even if they do not have cancer just because its “free”. Moral hazard theory is a Fraud. Increasing number of people even with some insurance that fall into high ticket illness go bankrupt . Let alone that do not have any insurance at all. System is created for profit maximization, not health care. Peoples lives are not a commodity to be made profit from or traded on wall street . It is not a mark of civilized society let alone number one country that we claim to be. It needs fundamental change, not cosmetic ones. Plus it will level the field for business in US to compete against other countries that have socialized healthcare in term of costs.
Thus a huge philosophical disagreement with Republicans. So I will advocate we change to Universal Health Care or medicare for all.
Instead we are busy bailing out wall street gamblers.

UHC (Universal Health Care)can be like Medicare but for all, delivery can be through “private” hospitals. So people are free to go where ever they like. Just that any doctor with a license has to accept UHC paying the bill to be in business. Countless surveys have found that most people that have Medicare like it . This will also free up business like auto industry for example from providing health care .
Europe , Japan , China all have UHC thus have competitive advantage , UHC in USA will just level the playing field. If you do not want jobs being shipped out demand UHC. Thus UHC will be a good boost to the economy and promote healthy citizens .
