To get a better understanding as to why Bloomberg would defend such entities as BP and Cosolidated Edison, a person should read the short biography Wikipedia has on Bloomberg and his background.

Bloomberg represents Corporate Intrerests only not fellow human beings. When you reach the level of GREED that people like Bloomberg reach, their humanity takes the back seat to their Corporate Soul of Greed, which governs their life.
Not all mega rich are like this, many contribute their money to less fortunate, or help build up human ventures. But the mega greedy do exist, and we should not be fooled by their PR or political agents. They exchange their money and high life for their Human Soul, it's in the Bible.
It's called making a pact with the Devil, which in this case is BP OIL GREED and Bush/Cheney Political/Power Greed. The devil drives a fast black limo and pokes people with a corporate dart, and spills the oils of the earth across the clean oceans and lands. The devil wears oil, war, and thousand dollar bills, not Prada.
We must use our human virtues to bring about the better good, and let these demons lie in the oily muck they created, until they return to a simpler form to start the process of becoming fully human again. They do not care for us at all, remember that.

Sorry Mike, you sound like you are in the beginning stages of Alzheimers.

But thats how it is these days. Years ago, when you took a job with a big title, you knew additional responsibility came along with the territory.

Today, its the opposite. They dump the responsibility on some patsy.

People today go after the biggest jobs they can find, and look at you like you have two heads if you expect them to shoulder the responsibility involved.
