Thanks Jenny and Ed, for bringing more attention to this issue. It's incredible that Congress is failing to act on something as common sense as protecting my neighbors in the South Bay from deadly chemicals. This isn't healthcare or financial reform. It's just saving lives!
How long will it take before people realize these massive corporations don't care about our safety? They will cut corners and cut deals until tragedy strikes. We can't let that happen here.

This is very important news and great reporting by Jenny Binstock and Ed Schlegel. In fact, the Daily Breeze should have had a reporter covering this story too.
And what's up with Barbara Boxer dragging her high heels on this issue? Why isn't Senator Boxer leading the way to protect us from this risk?
