Pawlenty hedges plans, raps BP on 'Good Morning America'

While stopping short of announcing his candidacy for president in 2012, Gov. Tim Pawlenty said Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America" that he's open to running if he's the Republicans' best messenger. Full Story

It would be okay if a president came from Minnesota, as long as it isn't Pawlenty. Can't even announce he's running for president even as he makes publc appearances and holds fundraisers. He's a woefully underqualified liar.

There's a strange silence coming from the "drill baby drill" crowd. Could it be they found their conscience?? Could it be that they turned their thoughts inward and took a look at how misguided and short-sighted it is for us to rely on a fossil fuel economy?? Could it be?? I for one am not holding my breath waiting for the "drill baby drill" crowd to wake up and smell the tar balls. Common sense and logic have never been this crowd's strengths. My hope though, is that some members of this crowd will have an "aha" moment and realize that drilling for oil 4 miles below the ocean surface is not cost effective and is just downright stupid when you look at the environmental damage being done in the Gulf.

interesting that while he says Obama is responsible for the BP tragedy (involving a private company's actions), his administration denied responsibility for the 35W bridge collapse, even though photos later showed the flaws in the bridge were visible. Do we talk out of both sides of our mouths?

I see that all the liberal idiots are out in force today.

Pawlenty is far from a failure. All one has to do is look at The One and how he is destroying this country with his short-sighted, expensive agenda. We don't need al-Qaeda to destroy us when we elect idiots like Obumbles to office.

After witnessing the nonsense that The One has foisted upon us (with the willing help of the liberal moonbats in Congress), anyone with a brain will be voting against Democrats this coming election.

It seems to me you are over-reacting and taking something personally that you wouldn't have to. While I am NOT a Pawlenty supporter, it was Jon Stewart who turned a comment into something that could be taken sexually. I think messages get lost and arguments appear less valid when we put them into personal terms.

Yet,the national media keeps ignoring what a catastrophic failure Tim has been as governor of Minnesota.Plus has shown he can't work with the legislature, can't stand to see old, sick and disabled people get any kind of help. Can't understand that an illegal act is not the best way to rule and can't bear to call a tax a tax!. But based on what I read here and the national votes he has failed miserably at getting many of and in latest poll he got ZERO! He must have a head as empty as his heart and soul. Not to mention his shortest short coming.Tiny Tim gets smaller with every speech he gives.

Oooh Bob! Tough guy! Where was your indignation when George W Bush was president? Answer: nowhere to be found. That's because you have to keep things simple and see the world as Democrat and Republican. It's moron's like you that vote in a miserable failure of a leader like GW cause you can't see the forest for the woods.
