What's more insulting? Leo's statement, or the fact that I just found it published in the L.A. Daily News?

They should call it the L.A. Daily Enquirer.

Well, at least he is not trying to say he knows better. Some of the actors think they can act things away in the real world. I wonder if Leo and his environmental buddies rides a bike to work. Or how many commercial planes he use versus private jets. But at least he acknowledges that oil is needed. Even with electric cars, you still need to power it with a power plant. And since the only viable alternative source is nuclear, I don't see these environmental group rushing to okay nuclear power plants.

.... "I want to try to do something about the oil spill, but I think everyone's confused and figuring out how to get involved in that," the 36-year-old actor said late last month.....

Then why aren't you in Louisiana washing oil off pelican's peters ?

Another Hollywood "actor" that thinks they have a better understanding than the rest of us. Thanks Leo, I can rest better now, just knowing you are on it! BTW, did you consult with your buddy Sean Penn? I know that after he went to the Middle East and reported back to all of us that things were OK, man did I sleep better then too. And don't forget the time he went to look at the disaster of Katrina, with his shot gun, only to try and make Busk look bad, but once again I was so relieved just knowing that Hollywood was looking after me! All (B)ullshit! The real hero's from Hollywood are sadly gone.

Who freakin' cares what this clown thinks? how about having the option to drill closer to shore so that we don't have this kind of disaster again?
