President chides GOP in speech on immigration reform

In his first major speech on the issue since taking office, President Barack Obama said yesterday that the U.S. immigration system "offends our most basic American values" and blamed Republican opposition for thwarting critically needed change. Full Story

Um actually, I don't live in DC. I'm just working here for the summer. And, why would someone in DC not count as a "real" person?
And, I like how you decided not to quote the part where I pointed out that the "majority" of America voted for Obama, so if "real" people don't like what Obama stands for, then I guess the majority of Americans aren't "real" either.
The majority of Obama's votes came from those who did not know and did not care about what Obama stood for. They knew: 1) He is "Black" 2) He was not GW Bush. THATS ALL! Now they know he is 1) A corrupt politician (I know, redundant) 2) Incapable of governing. 3) Ruining the country.

Partisanship, in the case of immigration is out of place. This has been allowed by both parties.

Republicans see this as a golden opportunity to break the back of labor. The Bush Administration was pushing to allow Mexican truckers onto our roads. What better way to lower the standard of living of our truck drivers and break the back of the Teamsters.

Democrats are not better. They see more people to "help."

Neither party represents the producers (the middle class) in this country. Time for all of us to wise up. Washington has successfully divided and conquered the middle class while pandering to the really rich and professional poor.

Americans need to heed the following as it perfectly describes the current situation in America with obama and his traitors in power. If you're not a liberal marxist then you are fighting against this, just as they now are in Australia and Great Britan.

"For the doctrines of anti-racism and multiculturalism have not ended intolerance, prejudice or discrimination. They have instead institutionalised reverse discrimination and up-ended truth, morality and justice.

Following the Marxist doctrine that prejudice is restricted to those with power, they have given Third-World ethnic minorities special protection from rules or conventions that apply to everyone else."

There is nothing unAmerican about expecting our Government to honor our laws. If our Muslim Sympathizing President doesn't like our laws he should have them changed. Otherwise shut up.

It is time to stop pretending that the Republican Party is just another political party and start treating them like the crime syndicate and hate machine they truly are. RICO the GOP!

Noooo .... we don't want the president, or any one person, to be able to change our laws.
This president does know how to stretch the "rules" beyond the breaking point. "Chicago style politics" as I see it.

We need to get back to the rule of law AND the constitution as our founding fathers invisioned.

We have changed laws before, but this one will never be change. That does not give Democrats Carte Blanche to ignore our immigration laws. They must learn the difference between legal, and illegal aliens.
