Border Battle

May 4, 2010 | Posted by: Agent of Chaos | Full story: www.foxnews.com

The Arizona immigration law has ruffled feathers here in the U.S., and now authorities in Mexico are making their voices heard on the subject. Mexican President Felipe Calderon called the law racially discriminatory and a "violation of human rights."

I wonder then what he would call Mexican immigration laws which are far more harsh than Arizona's new measure?

Maybe the News Media might get the guts, courage to ask Calderon point blank to EXPLAIN Mexico Border Security/Immigration Laws istead of kissing up to to him.

You've never been to another country, have you?

For average standard of living the USA doesn't make it into the top ten countries in the world.

For the standard of living of those essentially used as indentured servants and slaves in the USA, surely it doesn't make the top 100?

I have been to several different countries. the U.S.'s standards of living are higher than most.

I find your comments particularly funny though, considering from where you are posting.

I'd like to ask Calderone why a Japanese man was arrested in Mexihole. The man had $200,000 on him, but apparently hadn't committed a crime. He's being held for what reason? I'd say Mexihole "racially profiles." Other than than, Mexican Officials can STFU. They have no power over me or this country!

Mexico's own immigration laws are stricter than Arizona's so that would make Calderon a racist in his own words.....

Calderon needs to clean up his own county and leave our alone!

Time to enforce the laws and deport all the Illegal alien invaders.

Under Mexican law:

1) Illegal immigration is a felony which can land you in prison for up to two years.

2) Illegal immigrants who were deported and attempt to re-enter the country can be jailed up to 10 years.

3) Mexico also reserves the right to deport any foreigner it deems detrimental to economic or national interest, who is not physical or mentally healthy or who "lacks the necessary funds for sustenance."

These ARE Mexico's Immigration laws.

Yes I've been to no less than 7 different countries...you obviously missed my point...if you manage to sneak in which doesn't happen in too many countries you are not treated well when found...here oh well slap on the wrist deported and back in days...get my point??

AM I trying to claim that my country has the best standard of living in the world and even those used as essentially slave labour (it happens here too) have it better than they possibly could somewhere else?

No, that would be incredibly ignorant and stupid.

Republicans tried a few years back to make it a felony here too, but the dems stopped them.

If illegals are indentured servants here in the USA, they should, by all means, feel free to go back to their wonderful countries and rid themselves of such an oppressive yoke. LOL!

The Amendments say that any child born in the United States, is an American Citizan if and only if at least one perant is a United States Citizen, or a ligal resident, and the other perent, has been a resident for a pitiod of time ,that goes negitive on both counts,so why is every one blasting Arizona, the laws have to be inforced.

The majority of the people of the USA really don't want any more immigrants or illegal aliens, since there are at least 15 million of unemployed citizens here. So, please, tell anyone you know who might want to come here to stay home, and spread the word to the rest of the world how nasty and evil the USA is for immigrants and illegal foreign nationals. You'll be doing us a great favor, and we'll be eternally grateful.

Listening to the Mexican government on US immigration is like listening to the Mexican drug cartels on how to help drug addicts. The fact that the Mexican government takes any kind of higher moral ground here is a joke, except that it's not funny.

Unless you are born here or have immigrated LEGALLY ...... get the heck out of our country!!!! Go back to your own country or go to some other country! I'm sick to death of spanish and illegals and all the money spent on them. Spend the money on our military, our schools, and on our citizens.

Hence me saying that trying to claim either of our countries to have the highest standard of living in the world is stupid.

If you're proud of your country that's great but at least be proud of what it is and not some fantasy ideal.

Just so you know I am proud of my country! We have done more to help people in the rest of the world than any other country. Perhaps in doing so we weakened ourselves and shortchanged our own. That is what our argument is all about. We need to get back to rebuilding our country and its citizens.
