Why is a "couple" on welfare?
Didn't anyone notice all the new cars?
What happened to the twins?
Will these thieves spend any time in jail?
So many questions, so few answers. Great article, there!

I think a corrective action is in order. Recapture the amount of their benefit, huge interest, huge penalty, and a prison sentence. Then hold a press conference when the couple is walked out to the courthouse to a waiting Department of Corrections van. Finally, so the taxpayer's get something for their investment, let these two trim government hedges in the summer and shovel government sidewalks in the winter. Now THAT'S RESTORATIVE JUSTICE!

And those who work our butts off to pay for this will be labelled insensitive for thinking this is wrong. Just wait.

Good Grief! They better get some of Tari's money before she spend it all on vehicles. What a couple of losers. That much money could have turned their life around instead they are still acting like crackheads. Wonder if she bought a giant rock of crack too? Disgusting. Kick her off welfare for life.

nice start on blowing the inheritance by purchasing depreciable assets!

At this rate, it'll be gone in no time. I'm sure it took the deceased years of hard work and frugal living to save this up. Amazing how fast it will be squandered.

I bet they got turned in by a neighbor who knew they were on welfare and got livid at the scam.

I know I would have been livid. Besides a hefty prison sentence they should be sentenced to community service (the most unpleasant kind that can be found) for as many years as they practiced this fraud.

Some quality people; having a flashy car (or 3) is more important than saving for the future.

I thought welfare fraud was similar to illegal immigration in that the Feds don’t look, don’t ask and don’t tell. And it is out of jurisdiction for the state and local cops.

You asked "Didn't anyone notice all the new cars?"
No.....because most folks on welfare drive nice new $30,000 plus cars
by having a family or friend with a job do the financing.

You asked "What happened to the twins?"
The Twins will end the season in 3rd place behind the Indians who will
be behind the first place White Sox.

You asked "Will these thieves spend any time in jail?"
NO......if you are white
Yes.....if you are a minority

They will get a slap on the wrist knowing them and the way the system works but i do agree they should be put to hard labor and clean up the most disbicle form of trash but also wear a sign that says why they are doing it ( know that would be poetic justice)i wish i could afford a new car oh wait i have to take a bus to every where i go, sieze the cars and sell them off and put the money o what they owe.

Take all their property and then give them a fair trial and hang them.
