Senators seek probe into alleged BP-Lockerbie link

The four senators from New Jersey and New York on Tuesday asked the U.S. State Department to investigate whether oil giant BP played a role in winning last year's release of the man convicted of the Lockerbie airliner bombing.

Our Senators need to stop being so foolish, and lean on the President to pass legislation that will help create jobs, stop disarmming our Defense system, and clean up our oil sotted marshes, and beaches. What motive would BP have in freeing a bomber? Those politicians drink too much to make sensible decisions. They need to take a huge cut in pay. They aren't worth 1/4th of what we are paying them.

The Republicans have killed every jobs bill the Democrats have proposed. Obama has actually increased the defense budget. AS far as a motive for BP to assist in releasing the bombers? It is called oil. Iran has it BP wants it. Stop defending BP.

I like the one poll that say 62% of Americans are looking for a Congressman, o woman, other then the one they have now. That goes for Republicans, and Democrats, although there are more Democrats to vote out then Republicans. It is a Historic election, probably the most important one in our lifetime.

I agree this is going to be an historic election. About 2 million people just lost their unemployment benefits because of the Republicans. Another 3 million people will lose their benefits by the end of July....because of the Republicans. Not sure how many more millions will lose their unemployment benefits....because of the Republicans....before the November elections, but apparently the GOP thinks none of these millions of people matter or vote.

The only ideas the Republican have come up with to solve the unemployment crises is to pass legislation cutting more taxes for the wealthy and lowering the minimum wage. Neither of these ideas have received what I would call a positive response from likely voters.

It's going to be an interesting election.

Working people that are tired of people staying on Unemployment until they draw the last dime, instead of looking for something to do in case the checks ended. Not everyone thinks it is the American way to stay on unemployment for 2 years.

Next up, he'll sign that flawed Senate bill on banking regulations. Afterwards...it's off to Maine for a vacation, probably Bar Harbor with David Rockefeller and all the other vile Bilderbergers who enjoy the pristine Maine coast. The affected people in the Gulf region won't see a penny for years. The lawyers will drag it on forever. They will get paid first and the scraps will go to the people. Remember, we have a left wing activist lawyer for president.

Also remember when Toyota was killing thousand's everyday with their defective vehicles? What happened to that story? Oh -- the oil spill bumped it. Now that the spill appears contained and the relief well is only a few feet from connecting this story will fade too.

So why are they worried about what deal UK and Libya do? What kind of jobs does that create here in the USA??
