Quoted from BP
BP confirmed Friday that it is self-insured for any costs related to the spill, so the company will have to absorb its full share of spending currently running about $6 million a day plus $100 million which it expects will be spent bringing in another rig to drill a relief well.

I hope your self-insure will cover what is around the corner-
The flow of lawsuits has begun.

Prominent Mobile, Ala., law firm Cunningham Bounds has filed a slew of separate class-action lawsuits on behalf of various groups impacted by the massive oil spill gushing from Deepwater Horizon, an offshore drilling rig that exploded and sank last week in the Gulf of Mexico.

BP lies for a week; its 1000 gallons a day, we now know itÂ’s more like 5000 gallons a day-and a week as been wasted in order to kill lively hoods as well as the environment-in which BP has no regard for.

There is so much you don't know... For example it was Transoceans Rig out there, their faulty equipment not BP's. Tradegy's happen, they are not planned for, we over come and move forward and hopefully learn. BP does have regard for the environment, but no matter who or what company this would have happened to, no one is fully prepared. Do a little research before you open your mouth and stick your foot in it.

benzene may well contaminate every living thing in the gulf region; its dangerous and does not deteriate very easily because its a strong bonded chemical that alters RNA & DNA in sea food such as fish, crabs, lobsters; etc; a gallon of gulf oil contains more benzene than any other type of oil in the world; fact;

raw bulk benzene in crude oil is the most carcinogenic common substance found in crude light oil; and will cause dangerous damage for years and years in all living things, and note is passed on up through the food chain; ie from fish to man and pet food for cats; etc etc and general feed additive; in some countries still;
