You can not remove the oil from marsh lands once its there much of it will be absorbed in the sand, etc and kill for decades .
BP will probably throw those who lose revenue some bread crumbs and those who won't settle will probably die while this drags on in court.

Sell outs like Senator Mary Landrieu are the best thing to happen to BP she is an apologist and excuse maker for them. She is no friend of her state.

This is a direct result of allowing Oil company to drill our offshore for oil 5 years ago. The Democratic Congress had debate to this issue & warned the conservative senate & congress that this is a potential huge environmental disaster. The conservative party win & gave permit to BP to drill US offshore for oil & Federal regulatory enforces is non existent. Today BP, Transoceanic & Haliburton(VP Chaney company)sound familiar are pointing pointing finger in the senate on who to blame. In a way.., we deserve what we get. We failed to listen 5 yeast ago & we allowed our dirty politicians to pass a such a disastrous permit in the name of OIl & Money.

Don't kid yourself if you think this "minor" oil spill will change the way Washington works when it comes to big oil money

Ya, don't expect much. This makes me sick. I wonder if they are "stalling the solution" so they can figure out how to save the rest of the oil.

When you see these oil disasters and how oil companies handle them or do not handle them. It truly shows how much input how much power they have in Washington.
BP actually LIED about the amount of oil POURING out and seems no big deal to most in Washington.

Makes you wonder who truly runs the country.

A friend of mine who was in the military and served in Iraq than Afghanistan in infantry told me last yr he got out of the military because he would no longer fight for corporate America while puppet politicians pinned a $2 medal on his uniform.

He was so correct.
