I guess the 'bop' sub sea valve was'nt designed for the natural gas pressure experienced ( 60,000 ILbs)+ was it secured with a drill plate frame sufficiently large enough to have enough 2 metre rod wrall-expander bolts to cope with pressures above 60,000 Ibs example 200; and have to be fixed into hard substantial rock; wells of this complexity should have dual holes drilled as a matter of standard procedure; I hope they were not relying on ballast gravity of the rig itself! come on President Obama kick their arses and monitor their wells with government surveallance equipment 24 hours 7 days a week;

Sounds like these idiots are doing something unsafe. I am not an American but if I were I would be sick at the pollution coming in. Guess it's what they deserve as Obama gave green light for more stuff like this, then withdrew. It's insatiable greed drives this stuff. Maybe A Inglis should be strung up and have his 2 million plus salary rammed down his throat?

6 million a day is nothing compared to what it will cost louisiana in the long run.check and dig deep and see how much money bp spent on contributions to obama and liberals and you might be able to see why the feds have let bp bullshit the public and why obama only does lip service to the problem.if this happened somewhere else the msm would complain a lot more and feds would have been all over it.

Daunting Risks often Dismissed
By Dwight Baker

Categorically risks are pursued in business as usual. Then when a break in the system occurs we often hear OH WELL. Or what is worse “we will appoint an investigation panel, to find out what went wrong”

The political elite has mastered the arts and sciences of not needing any personal skill sets. So they stumble along in a stupor not knowing much more than how to read a speech smile and shake hands. I think they are educated and prepared to be appeasers, coming in when all hell breaks loose and telling all it will be OK.

Now to those who think rationally sanely using common sense and reason as a guide none of those appeasers methods will ever work out. The best way to avoid high risks ventures is to not allow them to proceed.

STOP:

Now think back to the BP blowout. For 92 days the appeasers said words that had no element of common sense and reason. The mumbo jumbo heard from our political elite was just as bad. Did that blown out well cause any involved to get a bad black eye? I don’t think so!

The propaganda mills run 24/7 to move folk’s minds to another heart breaking tragedy. If not catastrophe then pomp and pageantry an upsurge of a global magnitude to draw people away from ---one of the hard questions in life --- how are we to survive?

That is where we are today. How are we to survive? Our rich Gulf of Mexico lays buried in oil and dispersants that are poisoning all. No signs from our political elite that any have skill sets to take the offenders to task. So I purpose that those elected to protect and serve we the People and spend our money wisely with prudence I fear most are empty suites. They play the part they look like they should ----- but in between their ears I think is empty space.

One said ‘ the American people are full of apathy; they seem to be following the lead of the political elite putting our dying or dead Gulf of Mexico on the back burner.

But has that kind of problem been around since the birth of humanity? I think so! History has evidence that many people have been blindly led into destruction of their lands and people at the will and hands of the political elite that took daunting risks that destroyed all they had.

So what can be done?

Bring in those with skill sets to eradicate the problems --- thus prove to the American people that a change must come to their apathetic ways of thinking and living.

Gripe and complain what are you going to get?
Another empty political suit that is an inane appeaser!

To carve an elephant you take a block of wood and cut all away that does not look like an elephant.

To save our Gulf of Mexico you take a bite out of our political spin masters called inane appeasers and spit out all that is crap, then expose all that was spit out as trash.

Now go back to carving the elephant. If you do not have knives chisels and a few more tools carving that elephant is going to be almost impossible. And if you do not have an eye for what that elephant is to look like then you are lost before getting started.

The same is true about saving our Gulf. You must know the facts that you have studied out and be dead set with a mind of flint to take on any one who doubts your statements as facts. Thus debate with anyone and come out on top.
And toward that end all must go and be steadfast to finish that course in a reasonable time.

Simply too much is at risk and seems that the political and profitable propaganda machines run 24/7 and most Americans are sitting around wondering what else could go wrong

STOP

Instead of figuring out how much else can go wrong ---- step up and out as a leader and declare how each one can help with a strong voice and a vote for those in charge to hear us declare -----get to re-arraigning how political things are done and get to fixing our Gulf now.
