I'm a bit surprised by the previous comments. My wife and I eat at the Bob Evans restaurants in Central Ohio often. The food and service we get is invariably good.

What has struck me over the many years I've been a customer is that the staff seems to really enjoy working at the restaurant and working with each other. It makes for a very pleasant place to eat.

I love me some Bob Evans. One qualm I have is that they don't sell alcohol in their joints, trying to "family" it up. I love slamming down a country-fried steak dinner and chasing it with five or six draft beers, maybe some Jager shots if me and the missus are going to see a band afterwards. As things stand now, however, we have to sneak airplane bottles into Bob Evans, getting some odd looks from wait staff in the process.

I am 19 years old and a full time college student. I work part time at Bob Evans, and I worked full time over the summer. I absolutely love it. They train their employees very thoroughly, and the atmosphere is terrific. And I might just add that I love their food and I have a really hard time picking out what to eat for my employee meal everyday. It is well known for being a breakfast joint but at the same time their dinner food is great and they are really improving on their menu. From their salads, to their country fried steak, to some classic buttermilk hotcakes, Bob Evans is a great quick and easy but enjoyable restaurant.

My wife and I WAS going to eat on the one at West Broad St and 270. I have little time between jobs. We thought it would be nice to eat a nice dinner together for a change.Any other time we have the grand kids. All we got was the sound of voices behind the counter saying that is not my area, I am off the clock etc..needless to say I had to settle for fast food. Umm Umm. and head off to work!

We eat at the Rt. 36-37 & I71 Bob Evans several times a week. Sometimes we eat breakfast, sometimes lunch & sometimes dinner. ALL shifts give us excellant service and the food is ALWAYS wonderful. We have NEVER gotten bad service or food. We have eaten at all of the resterants in the Delaware area and have chosen this Bob Evans as our 100% favorite. Try this Bob Evans.....you'll love it as we do.

For the most part we feel Bob Evans is a very dependable restaurant but our take-out thanksgiving dinner was quite a disappointment. What do you do with your turkeys?------pale, tasteless, unusual flavor and not at all appealing. The best item was the mashed potatoes/gravy!

Being three senior empty-nesters with limited ability we decided this would be the answer to an involved dinner preparation but felt the packaging, warming procedure, and getting it on the table was a bit much for even two elderly women and I have never tasted a turkey as bad as ours. Live and learn!

FYI our dinner was purchased at Bob Evans on Fremont Pike in Perrysburg, OH. We still like the place for many reasons but no more take out turkey dinners for us. There has to be a better way
