Single parent Bristol Palin said abstinence is a realistic way for teens to avoid unwanted pregnancy and said if she could do it all over again, she would have waited to have sex.

Bristol acknowledged that she made a mistake. She's trying to help others avoid the same mistake. I think she should be congratulated for what she's doing.

I can't believe the meanspiritedness of the liberals, in attacking this repentant 18-year-old mother. Where is their fairness, compassion and forgiveness? Perhaps the liberals are angry that she didn't have an abortion.

I've got some advice for the liberals who disagree with Bristol Palin on the issue of abstinence. If you think she's wrong, don't be angry with Bristol, just advise your teenage kids to not abstain.
