Well, lets see now. How can a 'new' Congress affect stocks in 2011? Don't know. But hows this.
True Definition of how the destruction of the working middle classes was completed:
Forcing simpleminded and honest working class SAVERS to drop their 0.59% interest rate FDIC insured (KEYWORD HERE) savings accounts and hand it over to the non insured casino Markets in order to garner MAYBE, if they're lucky, 1.5% dividend so that they can pay the now 'new normal' 30% interest credit card bills.
Hmmm. Talk about 'trickle down'. Let's see- forcing the poor to have to 'invest' in a complicated structured Stock Market to get less than even half the interest they used to, uninsured to boot, AND- force them to pay 30% interest on credit cards. 1.5:30 ratio. Nope. Not lookin' good for the working class kids. Not at all.
