You have your numbers flipped, try 5.1 Billion!

"Mortgage finance giant Fannie Mae said it would ask for an additional $5.1 billion from taxpayers as it continues to suffer losses on loans made prior to 2009."

And Kerry blames the Tea Party for the market drop....
Talk about clueless...
The market is dropping because congress didn't go far enough, ie.. they didn't listen to the tea party.

The democrats think you have to raise taxes in order to "balance" the budget....
They just don't seem to understand the whole "cut spending" idea...
Make no mistake, the downgrade has everything to do with the fact that the market has no confidence in the ability of the government to do it's job.
It is the UNCERTAINTY of their actions that is driving the whole downgrade, down-turn in the market.

There wouldn't be an "affordable healthcare plan"...
We probably would have nuked Afganistan....
If he was president, the democrats wouldn't have had control of both houses for two years, so it's a good bet they would have passed budgets that the democrats seem incapable of doing....

When will President cry-baby face the music, instead of trying to bully the S&P. Just keep the union work forces day and happy, while we struggle.

They have short memories and aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Remember, these are the same people who put Obama in office...

Like Obama said to La Raza, how nice it would be if he could just change things without the input of Congress. Many would like that, until a Republican or Independent would get elected as President. Then, those with different ideologies would not like it so much.
