The Bermuda Triangle, sometimes called the Devil's Triangle, is reputedly an area in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. The triangle doesn't exist according to the US Navy and the name is not recognized by the US Board on Geographic Names. However, a number of aircraft and surface vessels are said to have disappeared in the triangle under unknown circumstances. Popular culture has attributed various disappearances to the paranormal or activity by extraterrestrial beings (source: Wikipedia).
Insurance companies do not actually charge extra charges for shipping in this area, despite the socially accepted folk myth that traveling in the area is not entirely comfortable psychologically.
The Bermuda Triangle remains a folk fantasy and its colorful history perhaps economically reflects the artistic appeal of psyche-themed Hollywood (USA) movies such as "Mystery Men" (1999).
Thrilling books written about the Bermuda Triangle include "The Bermuda Triangle" (1974), "The Fog: A Never Before Published Theory of the Bermuda Triangle Phenomenon" (2005), and "Mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle" (2008).
Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?
