nobody failed, everyone who matters got exactly what they wanted. this entire thing was planned from the beginning. all the important people get paid while joe punchclock get hosed. its the history of american big business. we have heard enough stories of corporate irresponsibility to know how corrupt our own governing system is. big business is corrupt because our govenment allows it. "the government" is really just a bunch of individuals with personal and corporate agendas whose constant re-shuffling of laws allows the money making to continue unabated.
