Did you know that during WW2, the US lent the Dutch $40 million.
They (the Dutch) turned around and lent $35 million to the Nazi's.

No further word on that return on our investment or repayment.
It's highly doubtful they (the Nazi's) would have repaid anything to anyone. The good socialists they were.

Barak Obama is a socialist/Marxist. He and his Democrats is very, very sloppy with extraordinary huge amounts of money, any money he can get his greasy palms around. And he throws it around like everyone is going to get some, the problem is everyone with a job is the source of the money. And he wants more....come 2011.

And he plans to get it from the only people left working.

Why couldn't have he stayed in pretty Chicago rousting bookies as a neighborhood organizer?

Obama spent three TRILLION dollars in just under two years. He's not even close to looking for the light
anywhere in any tunnel. When money becomes worthless, he wins.

Oh, yeah, we want to get paid back.

That figure is what we can find, currently. Like Bush and all previous presidents we will not know the true figure until after he is out of office.

When his approval ratings get down to just 20%,
I'll admit he
(Obama) has made his point.

He's killing us out here because he doesn't know what he's doing.

This is no secret.

Billions of cash dollars were sent out to Iraq because the dinar was worthless. The economy had been absolutely destabilized and there was rampant counterfeiting. They used American bucks to buy and sell as needed and to start new banks. Because their native money was worthless, inflation was beyond crazy. The American money that Iraq had before and during the war became worthless as it was counterfeited left and right. New authentic greenbacks were
sent and the old worthless paper money was collected and destroyed.

You couldn't buy anything because eventually,
no one would take Iraqi money in any amount, except counterfeiters
who probably already printed it once. Why not try it again.

You were trying to make a point.....but THIS is why they did it.

The same thing was done after WW II. In Japan and Germany. Now look how strong their money is after it was propped up by American gold.

Of course, our money is practically worthless as it is now propped up by the Chinese. We owe more than our GNP.

No matter who you blame, Washington DC is not
for working Americans, it is for the newest welfare generation
who have become dependent on it.

It's a good thing we all have big flat screen TV,s because
they have become America's newest security blanket.

I agree about the U.S. propping up europe and Japan after those wars but my point was the money sent to Iraq disappeared into thin air. current.com/news/92527611_here-we-go-with-the... ... A lot of the money the pentagon spent vanished also.

Why is it the only people we Americans wanna blame are the puppets? it's not the president its the people behind the president, the parties are inconsequential. but anyway AIG nor any others should have received a bailout, if you cant make it, well that's just business, now even American big business are gonna look like a bunch of defaulters.
And where did America get the money to lend to the big business's why from the federal reserve bank, a non American bank.

When and where is "government money" ever accounted for when the military gets it's disorganized palms around it?

Remember, they invented the $900 toilet seat and the $400 hammer.

Wrap that around a war and you get egg-roll.

If you ever get to the bottom of that, look me up.
We'll run the joint together.

We can all bitch about the money government waste all year long (and we do) but you were insinuating AIG paying back $4 billion is a farce and a drop in the bucket, compared to the money given out, it is. A $4 billion drop in the bucket beats no drop, as in the other cases we have both brought up.
