Lichtenstein's 'Sleeping Girl' to be sold at Sotheby's
PanARMENIAN.Net - Roy Lichtenstein's comic book-inspired painting "Sleeping Girl," is expected to fetch up to $40 million when it is sold at auction in New York in May, Sotheby's said on February 24.

I agree Lichtenstein did some good *nose jobs*- I was noticing that earlier. Wonder where he /stole/ the nose from?
As I wrote earlier, Lichtenstein's copies of the original comix are interesting, entertaining and amusing, even, but there's no doubt the luckiest day of his life was when he picked up his first comic book.
Without the creative work he found there to pilfer, he'd be long
forgotten... or never noticed at all.
Lichtensten's been a grudge since day one. He took comix panels right off the printed page, blew 'em up, painted over them, and called
'em *his*... and the art world sucked it up to the tune of millions of bucks.
Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Don Heck and others were literally robbed
blind by this thief.
