Looks like Brookfield wants the changes to prepare to sell the property and leave Dixon.

Seems that Ms. Murphy needs to learn how to write. She makes it sound like the "bribe" Brookfield said they would pay to get their land annexed and to acquire allocations they weren't entitled to will still be available after they are eliminated. The city can't spend the money anyway they wish if it isn't going to be there anymore.

Does it surprise you that these folks want to change the development agreement to their advantage now that times have changed? The one way in, one way out overpriced $80 million high school was completed on their backs. Maybe Brookfield should go to the school district for money so they can meet their obligations.

I wonder if even one planning commissioner will question any of this or hold Brookfield's feet to the fire. I also have to wonder what the hell the city staff is thinking. Development at any cost?
