Don't know who's count the DT is looking at but Schlumberger's rig count shows both NM and LA offshore gaining rigs this week. NM gained 3(NM East 2, NM West 1) and LA Offshore gained 5, the rig count in both areas being highly depressed by Progressive Democratic Policies shows signs of some limited recovery.

The total year-to-date rig count is up 41% overall US with NM West loosing 3 rigs since one year ago for a 27% decline.
