I wonder what this story means. Does it mean that we don't need that many rigs rolling at the same time, so we turn some off - which will in turn raise the price of oil and gas?
Or does it mean they were unsafe and had to be shut down or else something like the Gulf Oil Spill will happen again? Either way - we are robbing the earth of natural resources to fuel our greedy petroleum corporations as they rob us blind.

OK LLBD could you tell us what you mean? I read the note and was suprised it was note worthy but it read and I quote "The number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. decreased by one this week to 1,670. Houston-based Baker Hughes Inc." Now you can draw whatever your fool head wants from that. YOU want more drilling and at the same time are pissed that they are drilling too much? Does anything make you happy? Drop the joint and drink a beer or two they always relax me better.
