David Sokol=the man!!

Still sucks for those who lost their jobs, but to be the best, you have to employ the best and if you got canned you were clearly not the best.

Netjets should stop chasing the "newest and latest" model aircraft. It's far too expensive. Most people don't care about the age of the airframe (as long as it's maintained), and don't fawn over a glass cockpit. Most private jet travelers are focused on the newness of the interior, and the amenities onboard and at private terminals, such as great food, kind staff, and luxury car service at the terminals. MOST important is RANGE, RANGE, RANGE. I want jets with RANGE, at a better price than the competition. I want trans-continental RANGE. And the second lavatory and bertable divan on the GIII doesn't hurt.

I had the opportunity to fly as a Captain with Netjets for 10 years after 20 years flying with the US Navy. What we as a team sold and provided was SAFETY first and foremost. Netjets is a fantastic company which will benefit Columbus employment hopefully for decades

As previously reported in the Dispatch, NetJets gave over $4 million to "The James" in the last 2 years. I ask you a reasonable and respectful question "SJ"----How much have you and your company donated?

if you lost more than half your personal wealth, would you continue donating to charity? I doubt it. but in the eyes of nay-sayers, some money is worse than no money at all.

Richard Santulli, has been talking to Buffet and Noe with discussions of returning to NJA in some capacity.
Santulli's trump of cards is apparently his connections to the clients at Netjets.
Also, Buffet is reconsidering keeping one of the BBJ'S.

I work for NetJets and volunteered for the pelotonia. When a company is loosing millions of dollars, the first priority should be to right the ship. Donating to the pelotonia is a great cause but should not come as people are being laid off. Priority in any business should be profit first and commitment to community way down the list after happy employees and good working conditions. The right calls were made regarding charitable donations and now that the ship has been mostly righted, the contributions can and should continue.

NetJets is a fantastic place to work and the people and honest, hard working Ohioans who happen to supply a needed service to businessmen and high profile people due to the security and integrity we provide. I will remain proud of the services we provide.

Why are constituents of The James continuing to poke at this Pelotonia-pull-out issue? A guy with some brains looked at the books and smelled something not so fresh. Do you people need it spelled out to you? Are you that dense???

I'm surprised Warren Buffet isn't doing more to cover the reputational risk here. Also - the obsession with the latest aircraft isn't very "buffett like". Not really sticking to the core service that makes you money by trying to get fancy. www.buffettbooks.net .

Net Jets is and has always been a scam and a pryramid scheme to sell aircraft at max retail. The rest of it is a sham. When the sales drop the scam implodes. Anyone with half a brain knows aviation is the worst business on earth. I sincerely hope this company bellies up.

Maybe the government will impose a MPG on these buzjets like they do with cars to get rid of 20,000 polluted jets in the sky that have no business being up there in the first place.

You destroyed our ozone
you clogged up our airways
pay no fees while we pay landing fees, fuel taxes, security fees and others
Die bizjets Die!!!

Umm,don't get me wrong, but, isn't most of what you just described (newness of the interior, amenities onboard, and MOST important, RANGE, RANGE, RANGE) equal the "newest and latest" model and probably the most expensive as well?!
